Program Details

Welcome to our family-owned finca in the beautiful countryside of Tolima, Colombia, located just 30 minutes from Ibagué City by public transportation. As a volunteer, you will help us maintain and improve the property through activities such as gardening, landscaping, painting, light maintenance, cleaning, organizing common areas, and occasional farm-related tasks. Depending on your skills and interests, you may also contribute to photography, social media, hospitality, tourism, or creative projects. Volunteers have access to a dedicated space where they can relax, read, work remotely, or simply enjoy the peace and tranquility of nature. Our finca combines meaningful work with plenty of time to rest and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers typically contribute 20 hours per week, usually spread over 4 or 5 days, with schedules arranged flexibly and in mutual agreement.

We provide a fully equiped kitchen and basic food supplies so volunteers can prepare their own breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Because the weather is cooler and more pleasant in the morning, most activities are usually performed early in the day, allowing volunteers to enjoy free time during the warmer afternoon hours.

Rules

We value respect, responsibility, and a positive attitude. Please help keep shared spaces clean and organized, treat animals with kindness, and come prepared for outdoor work (sunscreen, and a hat are recommended). Responsible alcohol consumption, such as enjoying a beer, is welcome in moderation. Any companions or visitors must be communicated and approved in advance.
