I had a lovely time at Luisa's place. She and her family made me feel like home and very appreciated. Luisa didn't give me a lot of tasks to do, which I think she could do more! So the days were really relaxing, I spent them cuddeling their pets, helping around the house and doing pottery. Luisa and her daughter always invited me to do activities together. We went to the springs, hiking or meeting her family and friends. I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for spending some time in nature and being surrounded by good people. I really hope I see them again soon!

I had the opportunity to stay in Bande with Louisa for a few days. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do much since I didn't stay long, but I was able to take photos of the surrounding area and the coworking space for Louisa to use in marketing, as well as help out around the house and the stables. I truly appreciate how welcoming Louisa and her family are! She is a very talented person, and I can’t wait to see how her initiatives grow! I really enjoyed exploring the area and getting a taste of local Spanish culture. She is a wonderful host and has amazing projects coming!

Luisa and Claudia were two amazing hosts! During my stay at Luisa's residency, she did everything she could to make me feel at home, from cooking delicious meals to sharing cozy moments in front of the fire. She is a wonderful and sensitive person who puts her whole heart into this amazing project, and it was a pleasure to help her. In the house there were also Fanta and Pepa (the two cats) and Lima (the dog), and they are just as lovely as the atmosphere of the house. I hope to come back soon!

I stayed in the coliving for only 1 week. Luisa is very welcoming and she always cooked for us delicious food and explained everything both in english and spanish. The house is clean and organized and there is a lovely dog (Lima) and two lovely cats. We got to know the village and Luisa's family but also the slow-paced way of living in this part of Spain. I recommend this experience for everyone who wants to get away from the big cities and find peace amongst nature. Transportarion was a bit challenging but Luisa was driving us everywhere with her car whenever possible!

I was under the impression that I would be more involved with social media work. I created a TikTok account and designed a website but due to the uncertainty and scheduling of the host, we officially only had 3 meetings in my 2 month stay and there were no clear instructions given on what i can do. Most of the delegated jobs involved cleaning, painting, gardening etc. I also think conflict communication can be improved. Overall, my experience was good, but I would view my stay as more a chill vacation destination than work exchange.

What an amazing adventure! Luisa is a fantastic host, open-minded and always up for discovering new things and meeting new people. Fonte do Ouro is really a little paradise corner, peaceful, in the middle of nature. I had the opportunity to help the host on a daily basis, in the house and in the art residency project, I also helped restore the garden and update the social networks. It was really great! The best volunteering experience I've had!! Bande is not only beautiful, it is captivating, as is nature; the people are super friendly, the activities are simple, and it's quite peaceful. I loved walking through the town; Luisa knows everything, literally. There was a tour through the town, through mountains, and to different places, almost every day. Luisa explained to me about the local culture, the monuments, and history. Luisa is a very good host. The place where I stayed is super comfortable and pretty, very inspiring for creating; the meals were delicious. I would come back again, and I recommend it 100%.
