2 General helpers - good level of fitness as all outdoor work

The experience

Help with general garden clearing. Some forestry work if you have experience and knowledge is also available We need help to get the basic backbones of a small holding established Lots of garden tidying work to be done
1 - 2 weeks in the French Countryside learning the permaculture way of food gardening helping to clear an orchard from being strangled by brambles
Clearing woodland ready to have bees Plant based / Vegan only household

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We will work together and sometimes you will be on your own to work in the garden as I run a business also, so INdependence and self reliance required. Your relaxing time is for you to enjoy at your leisure. We are happy to drive you to the bus stop which you can get a bus from Limoges or Angouleme to, so you can explore the area and collect you from local bus that stops at the train station your arrival or departure. We have a lot to do around the property and garden and are starting from scratch really after the property has been vacant for many years. Its physical work so a good level of fitness is required. I will only accept, couples or 2 woman travelling together please I can take 2 pairs at a times as have one bedroom in the house available and a pop up trailer camper also available that sleeps two very comfortably.

Activities & Shift

5 hour shifts over 5 days to a maximum of 25hours a week. Evenings and Weekends off. Start and end times to suit you.

Rules

No Smoking and unfortunately we cannot accepts travellers with dogs at the moment until we have a fence erected.
We are a Drug free , smoke free and Plant based household.
