I had a great time at the farm, the hosts and their children were very welcoming and we spent some free time together. I shared the apartment with an other volunteer, it was enough space for both of us, the vibe was very nice and we got part of the family, the big family, including the goats, the pigs, the dogs, the chickens and the horses. The tasks were explained very clear (in person and also in the Taskplotter- App- yes, they developed an app, pretty cool!) and I did not need a gym, I loved to help at the farm, it was work with meaning. Thank you for hosting me <3

Once again, thank you to Marlinn, Henrik, and the kiddos. My time at the farm was life changing I would say! This family is so very special and so accommodating. They are incredibly fair with the tasks and will made the extra effort to make sure I was comfortable which was very kind. I got a glimpse at both the beauties and the hardships of farm life. Connecting with the animals was one of my favorite parts and exploring the nature. Farm life is not always pretty! I found the work fulfilling and never found myself hungry (and I am quite often hungry) I will always carry this with me!

Henrik and Marlin were great hosts! The place itself is what really stood out ,a fantastic location and such a lovely space to stay in. Overall a wonderful experience, and we'd definitely recommend it, especially for the spot itself! We'd recommend doing the walking routes around the farm, and if possible, driving or taking the bus to Pulpit Rock. Don't miss hiking up to the Alvanuten cabin in Aksdal for sunset either (well worth the climb)

Marlinn and Henrick are both amazing people that made us feel welcomed from our first day and included us into their beautiful family. We learnt so many new skills and they always asked if the work is okay for us. The farm is surrounded by seriously stunning nature and more hikes than you can count! I would 100% recommend this experience, especially to people who love nature, animals, meeting other volunteers and immersing to local culture. It truly felt like a home far away from home. ♥️

My stay at the farm was the perfect first Worldpackers experience! The tasks were varied and everything was manageable. I had so much fun trying all kinds of new things. Marlinn and Henrik are incredibly kind and easygoing, and they made me feel welcome from day one. The farm is surrounded by stunning nature, and on our days off we enjoyed amazing hikes and explored nearby towns. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for meaningful work, cultural exchange, new friendships, and a peaceful place in Norway!

I had an amazing time at the farm! Tasks were fulfilling, manageable, and suited to the skills of the volunteer. I never felt overwhelmed or bored. The housing was comfortable and clean. Marlinn and Henrik are wonderful, kind people, who genuinely care for the volunteers. They are spectacular hosts, and by the time I left, I felt like I was part of the family. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves the outdoors and is looking to relax, connect with other volunteers, and immerse themselves in Norwegian culture!
