My experience with the community exceeded all expectations! Mr. Ahyak and his amazing community welcomed me like family. Teaching English to local students was one of the most rewarding parts of my stay, creating unforgettable moments with them and learning from the wonderful local teachers. I had a really lovely experience staying in NH Villa. From the very beginning, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel comfortable and at home. The family was very kind and caring, and I really enjoyed getting to know them and experiencing the local way of life. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I felt very comfortable during my time here and am grateful for the warm hospitality and the memories I made.
i would recommend staying here, even if it was teaching english instead of german :)

My time here was only short whilst I travelled through Lombok, but what an amazing experience. I was welcomed warmly and treated like one of the family. I had a lovely private room. Teaching was just an 1.5 in the evenings. In the days I rented a scooter and explore around the local area. Mr Ahyak and the team da wonderful job helping the community learn English in after school programs. I also visited a local school, attended a local wedding. The food Zian prepared me daily was delicious and fresh. And just the sense of community there was outstanding. I can't thank them enough 🙏❤️

I had such a lovely experience and only wish I could have stayed longer! I applied as a Content Creator, but ended up teaching English to the local kids, and it became one of the best parts of my trip. Most volunteers did the same, no matter which role they applied for. Meals were simple, but Mr. Amk often organised dinners with the community where we shared amazing Indonesian food and met wonderful people. I definitely recommend this experience!

Teaching in the project was a very fulfilling experience and I felt very lucky to get to know the local community. I made some great friends both with locals and other international volunteers. I loved staying in NH villa, it felt like a second home! I will always remember my time here and I hope I can come back in the future!

I had an amazing first volunteering experience. From day one, I was warmly welcomed by the local community, and everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. I quickly felt part of the village and was able to immerse myself in the local culture.
The accommodation was comfortable, and the location was beautiful, surrounded by rice fields and close to a stunning waterfall. My initial role was photography and videography, but I also had the opportunity to teach English to the village children, wich was a very rewarding experience..

I also had the chance to stay with an amazing host family who made me feel at home from the very first day—they truly became my new family abroad. Our homestay in the project was really nice and our host Julaeha was so kind and caring to us throughout our stay. We originally had signed up for farmwork however, due to the needs of the local area, we ended up providing more support through English teaching during our time here. Every person who we worked with was very appreciative and excited to show us more about the local area and culture. We particularly enjoyed our time with Divo who showed us so much about his village and the nearby farms. I would recommend renting a motorbike during your stay as it makes it provides much more freedom.
