I returned earlier than planned due to lack of fair exchange, organization and communication. On the day of arrival there was no one to greet me and the hostess did not respond; the place looked abandoned. I was welcomed by a local resident and later by the host's mother and two volunteers. The room was dirty and the bathroom had a strong smell of a dry septic tank, making rest difficult. We bought all the items including cleaning supplies and toilet paper. Yoga practice was performed only once, for 30 minutes at the request of a volunteer. I felt ingratitude! I stayed for the wonderful connection with the other volunteers.

Gaby is very understanding and I was able to communicate even with only a little Portuguese. We did yoga, hikes, and gardening, in an environment full of nature and good energy. I went seeking a new experience and left with a family 💞 It was wonderful volunteering at the guesthouse, a place full of nature and loving people. I mainly stayed in the kitchen, cleaning, media, arts, organization, and more... Being part of the renovation of several corners of the guesthouse 🌱 I participated in events, ceremonies, and waterfall hikes 🌟 I felt very welcomed, it's a place that really opens space for new ideas. Various lessons about living in a community, communicating, living with purpose. The hosts are excellent, I highly recommend them, and I will definitely return 🥳
