Cross-Canada Travel Companion – $100/Day max 7 days + Homestay in Saskatchewan in Exchange for Help
I'm looking for someone with a sense of adventure to join me on a cross-Canada road trip from Nova Scotia to Kamsack, Saskatchewan. I'm hoping to leave sometime between the end of June and mid-July.
A little about me... I'm a wheelchair user traveling with my friendly dog and three well-loved cats. I don't need personal care, just an extra set of hands with the everyday things that make a long road trip easier.
I do drive, so having a driver's license is preferred but not essential. If you enjoy driving, we can share the trip. If not, that's okay too—I can do the driving. What I really need is help with loading my lightweight wheelchair, walking the dog, caring for the pets, setting up camp if needed, and helping with the day-to-day tasks along the way.
Traveling with four pets makes finding accommodations a challenge. Some places don't allow multiple pets, while others charge high pet fees. If we can't find suitable accommodations, we may spend some nights camping, sleeping in a tent, or in the vehicle. Flexibility and a sense of adventure are definitely an asset.
During the Trip
• $100 per travel day (up to 7 travel days)
• Basic meals and groceries provided
• Restaurant meals, snacks, alcohol, and personal purchases are your responsibility
After We Arrive
If we're a good fit and you'd like to stay longer, you'll have your own private bedroom in my new home in Kamsack. In exchange for accommodation and meals, I'd appreciate help with painting, unpacking, organizing, light cleaning, yard work, and getting the house ready.
If you're kind, dependable, enjoy animals, and are looking for a unique Canadian adventure, I'd love to hear from you.
