I had an absolute blast during my stay. I learned how to take care of a boat & how to use mechanical tools. Very useful ! 🛥️
Thank you to captain Gurcay 🧑🏻‍✈️

I loved my 3 weeks on the boat Yacht! The work includes cleaning, deckhand duties, and event preparations. Hours vary by the schedule (corporate events to parties), but are fair and honest. The host is fantastic—super flexible, friendly, and helpful with everything. A unique and fun way to experience the Miami boat life. Highly recommend if you are ready for something else with a bit of hard work!

Gurcay is a wise and generous soul. He's adventurous and got a lot of cool stories. I was helping out doing some cleaning in the house he's finishing up, some different work to what he would usually need help with I think. Very chill experience and I can't wait to visit again!!

My experience was not good because I didn't feel comfortable. If you want to share with other volunteers, this is not the place; you are only with the host in their house. Gurcay was kind when I arrived, he picked me up at the airport and we went to have lunch. The strange thing was that the room he offered me didn't have a bed made up, only a bed for massages. I think that when a volunteer is welcomed, the proper structure should already be in place. It should be noted that sleeping on the yacht is very hot. Regarding the working hours, although I respect my two days off, they were more than the indicated hours.

Antonella seemed more interested in the World Cup experience than volunteering. During her 5-day stay, she joined one yacht charter where we mostly chatted with guests and watched a World Cup game, and on another day spent about 3 hours power washing side covers. I still had no complaints, but she felt the work was too demanding. She seems like a nice person, but I don’t think volunteering was the right fit for her. I wish her all the best in her travels.
