Program Details

Our volunteer program is based on collaboration, responsibility and cultural exchange. Volunteers support daily hostel operations, events and social media while living on-site.

In return, volunteers receive accommodation and become part of an international, women-only hostel community in Amsterdam.

The program requires a commitment of up to 24 hours per week, scheduled across different tasks and shifts.

The schedule is flexible and partly self-managed, meaning volunteers are responsible for organizing their time and coordinating with the team.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers are expected to work up to 24 hours per week across the following activities:

- Hosting and organizing hostel events (individual and group)
- Creating and promoting social media content (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Covering reception shifts (mainly night shifts from 21:00 to 01:00, and occasionally morning or afternoon shifts)
- Handling the hostel phone during night hours for late check-ins or urgent situations
- Assisting with light daily tasks and general support around the hostel

📌 If assigned to phone duty after 01:00, the volunteer must remain in the hostel and be available if needed.

Schedules may vary weekly depending on operational needs.
