I loved my experience at the lodge! If you are more of a city person and do not like being farther away from shops, restaurants, ect, then this will not be the place for you. But I loved the tranquility and peace. The rooms are clean and decorated cute, as well as the whole place has a very welcoming energy! Chryssa is very nice and makes wonderful meals. The work is easy and you will have a lot of free time to relax or go to the beach (10 min walk, but uphill!) I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting an authentic greek village experience.

I really enjoyed my stay at the lodge ! Chrissa is an amazing and very caring host ☺️. She often takes you to local activities and events, which is a great way to experience the area. She also prepares delicious meals whenever she has time. The area is very peaceful and surrounded by nature. The work schedules were respected and the tasks were always easy and straightforward. There is no public transport, but we found it easy to walk to the beach or to the village of Vathi. I would definitely recommend this experience to any easy going person looking for an authentic stay. ☺️

I spent a month at the lodge with the lovely Chryssa, and it was an incredible, calming experience that I will never forget. The location is quite secluded, with no public transport, but we found the walks to the beach and Vathi enjoyable and easy. If your someone who prefers a highly structured schedule and clear routine this may not be the place for you. The atmosphere is very relaxed and easy going , allowing you to slow down and appreciate the simple things. I would wholeheartedly recommend the lodge to anyone seeking a simpler way of living and the quiet pleasures that come with it.💜

I absolutely loved my volunteering experience at the lodge! Chryssa is a very warm and welcoming person she made us feel comfortable and right at home. The tasks were pretty much as described on the site, mainly cleaning and helping her welcome new guests, the work hours were always well respected. the lodge is a beautiful place I absolutely recommend it, the area around the center is full of beautiful nature, swimming spots and paths that you can enjoy on you time off! I stated for a month here but would have definitely stayed longer if I could've as i truly loved my experience :)

Chryssa was truly an amazing host!! She is very caring and makes you feel like family right away. Very helpful and kind to her volunteers. The area of the lodge was lovely with gorgeous views. A little secluded, be prepared for walking! The housing is as described, right beside the lodge. The working hours were very well respected and the tasks were well explained. As a first time volunteer I couldn't have chose better. I would like to note choosing time of year you choose to stay! I was here in the winter and the amount of guests was very low and most places were closed for winter.

The hostel was beautiful and clean, and I really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. The food prepared by the host was also delicious. Unfortunately, communication with the host was difficult, and I often didn't feel heard. In many situations, I felt uncomfortable, stressed, and judged. I was very open to this experience, but unfortunately, it didn't turn out as I had expected.

I highly recommend this experience. The place is beautiful and allows you to relax, connect with nature, and learn about the local culture. The tasks and schedule were as agreed. They provide you with a private space and plenty of food. I spent a lot of time with Chryss and her daughter, who are lovely. The only thing to keep in mind is the distance to other places you might want to visit further from the village, but they do offer to take you to typical spots and explore the area.
