I enjoyedthe eco village chance to do things that I normally don't and get encourage and supported to try them. With a nice balance betweenthe eco village motivation to do it and expect that it goes great andthe eco village accepting when it doesn't. I think is a great learning environment! On my time there i lovedthe eco village vibe, the eco villageeco villagevolunteers makesthe eco village place friendly and fun, the eco villageeco villagehost often join that wave too and it feels like a summer camp mood. I had a lot of fun during my time here! the eco villageeco villageplace is super nice and a bit further away fromthe eco village city which adds to its charm. If you don't mind walking a lot you can probably also survive without a scooter, but if you can drive that's definitely a bonus. You'll have a lot more freedom that way. the eco villageeco villagework is very manageable andthe eco village afternoons you're already finished working so you have lots of time to go snorkeling or play Qatan for hours… Overall, I definitely recommend! It'sthe eco village perfect place to explore Koh Tao and meet amazing people :)

My time atthethe eco villagethe the eco village was mostly working closely with Curtis andthe eco village team of volunteers over designing new housing forthe eco village farm and questioning what "sustainable" means in this context. Time went by so lightly, days were working and designing withthe eco village team, followed by delicious home-cooked meals bythe eco village lovely chef (Myo:) and evenings were beach volleyball or quick workouts and chilling. I reccommend this place to anyone looking for a balance of personal and shared time, and hope you makethe eco village most of it :) P.

My experience at the Lighthouse has been amazing and truly unique. Curtis and the volunteers have built an incredible community where everyone contributes and supports one another. The work combines managing the hostel with eco-projects around the property. It can be physically demanding, so I'd recommend staying hydrated and taking care of your body. Everything was exactly as described in the application and very transparent. Thank you, Lighthouse community, for your amazing hospitality. I hope the project continues to grow!

It took me some time to get intothe eco village rhythm ofthe eco village schedule andthe eco village tasks but it's been so rewarding to helpthe eco village other volunteers keepthe eco village place running and learn more about sustainability and environmental awareness. the eco villageeco villageowner and volunteers have been super friendly and always willing to share food, knowledge and help each other out. I highly recommendthe eco village volunteer experience here if you want to learn and contribute towards a truly sustainable project and feel connected to nature (andthe eco village dogs are adorable!)

I extended my time volunteering because I was so happy to stay & continue to contribute tothe eco village project. It has been wonderful to be a part of a community that values connection to nature, collaboration, and fun. We had theme nights a few times a week including game night, movie night, salsa night, a journaling workshop, a cacao ceremony and more. Each volunteer has a personal project and a workshop they lead during their time here. Overflowing with gratitude!

Wooow! Beautiful experience! the eco villageeco villageeco villagereally became my home for some time, that I even had to extend two times. Met amazing humans, got hands on big projects that pushed me to learn. Atthe eco village same time felt super comfortable with plenty of time to relax. Food was delicious, big thank you to chef myo and big thanks to Curtis for openingthe eco village door of his home ❤️the guests were also always fun and I was never bored ! Just think it through if you don't drive a bike, because walking is too long, so you will need your friends to give you rides. But you will manage 🧚🏻♀️🧚🏻♀️🧚🏻♀️

My experience atthe eco village eco villagewas one of a kind. I mean this place feels like it's own world on Koh Tao, away fromthe eco village noise and chaos ofthe eco village main streets. It gives youthe eco village opportunity for some alone time and immersion in nature while still meeting other travelers and being a 10 minute scooter ride from Koh Taos busiest center. Curtis isthe eco village most inspiring kind hearted host who has broughtthe eco village place to life in such a beautiful and yet environmentally sustainable way. the eco villageeco villageplace uses solar power and rain water andthe eco village delicious meals are made with love from fresh ingredients. 100% recommend❤️
