Program Details
Our volunteer program is designed around cultural exchange, language immersion, and shared daily life. As a volunteer in our home, you'll become a genuine part of our family rhythm, contributing meaningfully while gaining an authentic Italian living experience.
The primary focus of the program is supporting Marcus, our young son, with language learning, particularly English through play, conversation, storytelling, reading, and creative activities. Sessions are light, fun, and child-led, so no formal teaching qualification is required; just patience, enthusiasm, and a love of communication.
In exchange for 5 hours of engagement per day, you'll receive free accommodation in our villa, all meals included, and full access to our facilities and lifestyle. You're encouraged to travel, explore, and enjoy your free time fully.
Activities & Shift
A typical day is flexible but structured around Marcus's natural routine. Morning shifts usually run between 8:00–11:00 and may language activities, outdoor play, creative projects and reading. Afternoon sessions from around 14:00–16:00 might involve games, language activities, crafts, or helping Marcus wind down with a story.
Outside of these hours, your time is entirely your own. You're welcome to:
Join family sports sessions, mountain biking, tennis, kayaking, gym, MMA, or hiking.
Explore Verona's historic centre, Roman amphitheatre, and local markets.
Day-trip to Lake Garda, the Lessinia mountains, or nearby medieval villages.
Use the home cinema, garden, or gym to relax and recharge.
Travel independently on your days off, we'll happily share our favourite spots.
