My stay at the guest house was very positive! Youssef, Zahra, and Soufiane are incredible people always kind, welcoming, and hospitable. I will miss them! The tasks are simple, although during high season they can be days a bit more demanding. However, there is always great teamwork, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. Mirleft is a graet place if you want to disconnect from highly touristy destinations and experience more of the local culture. It has beautiful beaches, delicious food, and a very authentic atmosphere. This experience was worth it. I highly recommend it! 🫶🏾

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have done it in a better place. Youseff and Zehra are some of the loveliest people you will meet. They made me feel so welcomed and at home. As for the work it's just some cleaning and helping out with breakfast in the morning, then you've still got so much time to explore Mirleft. Mirleft now feels like a home away from home and I hope I make my way back here xx

Zahra and Youssef hosted me in the best way I could ever imagine. The work is really doable, the working hours are fair, the guest house is super nice. Mirleft is a quiet town next to the ocean where is possible to disconnect from the big cities and get in touch with the local community.
I will miss a lot Zahra, Youssef, their kids and the extended family… after 2 weeks I feel like I have a new family in Marocco, they all welcomed me with a big heart and so much care. I can only recommend this place to people✨

My stay with Youssef and Zahra was truly unforgettable. From the very first moment, they made me feel completely at home. They are incredibly warm, cheerful, and thoughtful people who create a welcoming and positive atmosphere every single day. Mirleft is a hidden gem, perfect for enjoying peaceful surroundings, stunning cliffs, unspoiled beaches, and discovering Berber culture. The local community is incredibly welcoming. The work is simple and well organized, with fair hours that leave plenty of time to relax and explore. I'm truly grateful for this experience and hope to come back soon.

After spensing 10 days in this "guesthouse" . I discovered that youssef is super lazy. After alrezdy bussy from 9 o clock. Youssef finaly wakes up at 11 and asking you whats going on, if you cant answer his morning anger likes hiqh wiqh, he get angry and irritaded. For a project in the roof he helped me 5 lin and whent down again to play poker. He things he communicate, but try to be populair wth his talking. At the end he tried to screamed at me for no reason. He send me out of the place , i still had 2 weeks left... not a good experience !

I had a really nice time there. It was quite different then my previous experience, but really positive nonetheless. The tasks varied, some days the work was quicker and easier, and the other days a bit longer and harder - but overall very manageable. One thing I would say is that communication could be better at times. For some things, when I was just starting, it was just assumed I already knew them or that they were obvious. I had to ask a lot of questions, but I got used to the way things worked there after a few days. Also, Youssef can be very understanding if you mess something up:))

Mirleft is a peaceful and pleasant place where you can disconnect. About the volunteering, in my case, we had some misunderstandings at the beginning that made things a little tense. I chose to continue, and as the days went by, we settled in. If you plan to go, I suggest you ask Youssef from the start how he wants things done, and also to Youssef be more tolerant when we start, because yes, the tasks are the same as in any other hotel, but each place has its own particular touches. My tasks were breakfast, make rooms and hk. Youssef, his family and Ishu are nice and friendly 👋👋 Hamdulilla

My volunteering experience with the guest house was very positive. I was warmly welcomed by the host's family, which made the experience truly special and allowed me to connect with local life and culture. The work is generally calm, though it can be a bit more demanding when the hotel is full. Merlift is in the south of Morocco, about 8 hours by bus from Marrakech (faster by private car). It's a very quiet town, perfect for those seeking tranquility and less tourism. I visited during low season and loved the peaceful days and meaningful exchanges. Special thanks to Youssef for his great support.
