I felt at home the minute I arrived, the condition of living are perfect in the eco village. In my case I was the only volunteer for 2 weeks so I had quite some tasks to do and not as many days off, but honestly it did not bother me as it was genuinely a real pleasure to help Aida around. Oh and it is already mentioned in other reviews but I agree, the food she cooks is definitely the highlight of this volunteering 😍

Many thanks to Aida and Olzhas for their hospitality! I spent a pleasant 5 days at their house. My main task was painting on the fence, but sometimes I also helped other volunteers with their household chores. There is no entertainment in this village, so this place is suitable for people who want to get grounded, be closer to nature and travel more slowly.

It was a big volunteer project. I met a nice group of international volunteers that enriched the experience. The work was sometimes hard, but we had a good schedule and working hours were always respected. I really appreciate Aida for taking care of the volunteers. She is an amazing Kazakh woman willing to share her culture and teach you different things. She also prepared delicious Kazakh food everyday. Even though I didn't have the chance to talk a lot to Olzhas, I am grateful for accepting my request. I wish the family all the best!

Wow what an incredible experience! The hosts, Aida and Olzhas, were welcoming and organized the perfect volunteer experience. It was definitely hard work, but it was a very rewarding experience. I learned about what it takes to run a guesthouse and a farm. The house was beautiful and was located right next to a lake where volunteers would swim after their work shifts. I really enjoyed bonding with volunteers from all over the world, eating local food, and meeting locals in the area. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a great time! We helped with the farm and house work each day, and then all the volunteers would eat lunch together and spend time at the lake! We really appreciated all the thought that went into caring for the volunteers, and how much Aida encouraged each volunteer to take a turn cooking their favorite dish for dinner. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend to other travelers!

Loved to be at the eco village, away from the city, meeting people from around the world. Cooking Indian food for 14 people was one a rare experience that I never expected.
Both of them were amazing and very kind, and i loved their enthusiasm towards hosting volunteers.
