Our project is located in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam, in the beautiful and quiet area of Kibada. This is an ideal place for volunteers who want to experience Tanzanian culture while staying in a peaceful and friendly environment.
Kibada is known for its safety, warm community, and natural beauty. From our volunteer accommodation, it takes only five minutes to reach the beach, making it a perfect place to relax, enjoy the ocean breeze, watch the sunset, or take a morning walk by the shore.
Kigamboni offers a unique combination of community life and coastal adventure. Volunteers can easily explore local markets, interact with families, learn Swahili, and enjoy fresh local food—all while being close to one of the most beautiful coastlines in Dar es Salaam.
