It's easy to see how much Teresa loves and cares for these dogs . I enjoyed my stay and thankfully I could leave knowing these dogs are happy , healthy and in good hands all around .

I had a very good experience with this host. Teresa is a nice person. It is wonderful to see how she runs the the shelter with such passion. The work could be tough but if you love dogs it's probably not a problem. All dogs are super sweet and excited to see you. I do recommend wearing earplugs. Even in the night it is very noisy from the dogs barking. For me it was difficult to sleep.

This was a really great experience ! If you love dogs and enjoy being surrounded by nature, this is the place to be. Although the days can be long, it is nice as you get to meet the staff, other volunteers and the dogs who are all lovely. I recommend this host to anyone who loves dogs and don't mind getting their hands dirty and physical work for them :)

The experience was overall really nice, even if I left before time. Pros: the dogs are really lovely, every volunteer was very friendly and helpful and Teresa was absolutely awesome! Very good experience to gain consciousness about the love that dogs deserve. Cons (why I left before): I knew it was going to be noisy, but I didn't think it was going to be like that all the time, including the night. The apartment is attached to the dogs' cages so it's important to be used to dogs' barking 24h. This was my problem because I couldn't sleep more than 3-4 hours a night and I was so tired I left.

I spent 10 days volunteering at the farm in January. The work included cleaning cages, fixing holes, filling food and water containers, giving medication, and driving dogs to the vet. The days were long, often over 5 hours and sometimes up to 7–8 hours, including some work on Sundays. The work was both physically and mentally demanding, but it was meaningful and involved spending time outdoors and caring for the animals. Although there was limited free time to simply relax with the dogs, it was rewarding to contribute to their wellbeing. The rainy weather made everything more challenging.
