My experience at the hostel was truly enriching. I got to meet amazing people that welcomed me in their team (and their family!). Everyone made sure I was safe during my day trips by providing suggestions andlocal insights . When I first arrived here I couldn't speak Spanish, but after a month here I can I can hold a whole conversation in this language. Despite this, everyone was understanding whenever i couldn't understand what someone was telling me. My task consisted in serving breakfast for the hostel guests and sometimes helping with checking activities.

My experience was better than I expected, david is the kind of person who is always willing to help other people, treats volunteers and other hostel workers with care.
The place is extremely well located, a supermarket right in front, close to the central square.
The meals are the best part, all the meals delicious, there is no better way to get to know the local cuisine.
I stayed with the cleaning shift from 10am to 3pm, but there are other shifts such as breakfast and dinner, depending on availability.

My experience at the hostel was the best of all the experiences I have had up to today. The host David is an excellent person, always in a good mood, concerned about how I felt, and always very kind and approachable. The work in the restaurant was exactly what had been published. The hours are respected, the work isn't heavy and, in fact, I felt very free, useful and necessary. My recommendation is not to think twice before applying. Go for it.

Hi there. In Alma I did my first volunteering experience together with Angi. Honestly we had a very beautiful experience and we met incredible people that we will always remember with a lot of affection. From the first day everyone made us feel welcome. Although there are some aspects to improve in terms of the organization, everything went perfectly. I miss them already and I would definitely come back.
