• Tasks we expect you to perform:
Maintain daily common and exterior spaces clean, tidy and in good condition throughout the day: ventilate rooms, disinfect frequently touched surfaces, arrange objects, remove trash, keep the patio and exterior entrance free of trash and leaves. Water potted plants. Occasionally clean the kitchen and bathrooms. Opening and closing of common areas in the morning and at night: check that everything is in order, lights, heating.
Hang, unhang, fold and store sheets and towels; occasionally make beds: When required, prepare rooms for new guests, including bed-making and cleaning.
Welcome travelers: Greet them, offer a simple explanation of how the hostel operates (hours, kitchen, common areas, rules), and accompany them to their room. Maintain a warm, friendly and service-oriented attitude. Be available for inquiries or guest situations about how the place operates, the surroundings, or activities in Malargüe. Provide help with small needs (utensils, directions, operation of facilities) and communicate any important situation to the team.

What you can expect from us:
Support, respectful treatment, a calm environment. We provide a safe, clean space, equipped kitchen and surrounding nature. Open communication: you can propose, ask, or adjust what you need. We offer the possibility to go on ONE excursion or horseback ride (we arrange it through our travel agency). Since the day is subject to availability, we arrange to switch your day off to do it, if it is not possible to coincide.
Hours and tasks
Dawn: spend a few minutes ensuring everything starts well (lights, doors, heating, basic order).
Night: a few minutes to check closing and overall state of the hostel.
1:00 PM to 5:30 PM (be flexible to change the schedule if necessary): availability for cleaning tasks, space care and reception.
Volunteers are expected to maintain respectful and kind treatment with guests and staff, as well as order and cleanliness in your personal space, to use water, energy and waste responsibly, to maintain safe attitudes and to report incidents or problems, and to take care of work items, furniture and equipment. Smoking indoors is not allowed.
