Our guesthouse is located just a 3 minute walk from Hiroshima JR station, where you can enjoy a homey, relaxing atmosphere. Not only just cozy to stay, it is also very convenient for our volunteers to explore the city with the best location to reach many places.
Our staff are basically Japanese and Taiwanese. Volunteers with us can expect a multi-language and friendly environment to work, live, and share with many friends.

My experience at Akicafe ended up very well. The staff was welcoming and they showed patiently how to do the daily tasks. In general, the work is light and the schedule is respected. Besides that, it was fun to spend some time with the staff in our free time. I would highly recommend this place for volunteering.

Was a really good experience for me! Work was easy to get used to, leaving a lot of time for self-exploration in Hiroshima. Everyone there was also very friendly and helpful! Would love to be back again sometime.

I had a great time at akicafe! The hostel itself is so nice and comfortable and the staff and other volunteers really made the experience amazing, I already miss it! The hostel is also good for socializing with other travelers in the laid back Hiroshima. Overall I cannot recommend it enough!

Being part of the staff here was an amazing experience. Everyone are really kind. Maybe the task could be a little hard if you not used to do cleaning task, but gets better with time. I hope I can repeat the experience someday here. ( ◜‿◝ )♡

The work was not too hard and most of the days even shorter than agreed, so i had plenty of time exploring the area and exchanging with the rest of the stuff and the regular guests.
10/10 would do it again anytime!
