Our Hostel is situated in a very bubbly and young neighborhood, called Dresden Neustadt. We are surrounded by lots of clubs, pubs, restaurants, street art and artsy little shops nearby, so if you like to go out and have some fun - you will enjoy it here! Dresden itself is a city with a great historic center and a generally relaxed life going on. There are many nice options to travel to around Dresden such as Saxon Switzerland, you can rent our free bikes and cycle along the river to beautiful castles and so on.
Lollis Homestay is a Hostel that understands itself as a genuine Backpacker with a long tradition. Run by backpackers we take especially care of social interaction and an open-minded environment. So it is a nice place with great vibes.

Volunteering at Lollis was truely such a great experience. It’s feels like a little home away from home with the cozy atmosphere and the downstairs area is full of character.
The volunteers I worked with become like a little family and we did so many things together.
The hours you work are great and gives you plenty of time to explore Dresden.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a chill volunteer job where you just gotta enjoy having a good chat with guests.

It was my first WP experience. I was waiting to improove my english and learning useful skills and now, after a month, people are saying that my english is really better and now I know how to cook new plates, to play new games, to recycle and I changed all my plans for my future feeling more confident about it. Was really good to be around so many friendly people, in such a cozy and affective environment. Thank you all!

Staying at this hostel was such a good and fun experience. People is so kind there and I made a lot of friends. You always have something to do in the hostel but you also can enjoy your free time. I was studying during my volunteering and I could organise myself (with the hostel tasks and my homework).
It was my first time as a volunteer and also in a hostel and I think I made the perfect choice☺️
An advice: if you ever don’t understand a task or anything else just ask to the staff. Communication is so important!
By the way, I wasn’t expecting that Dresden was such a nice city🫶🏼

I had no idea what to expect from Dresden and from Lollis when I arrived. This was my first WorldPacker's experience and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Julianne was there to welcome me when I arrived and she immediately made me feel like I was at home - one of the sweetest people I've ever met and the rest of the receptionists are much the same! The work is easy and fun but can get complicated if you don't advocate for yourself and organize with other volunteers. There are weekly tasks that need to be done and you choose who does what, it's not a strict schedule. I loved it!
