Hostel Lollis Homestay
Our Hostel is situated in a very bubbly and young neighborhood, called Dresden Neustadt. We are surrounded by lots of clubs, pubs, restaurants, street art and artsy little shops nearby, so if you like to go out and have some fun - you will enjoy it here! Dresden itself is a city with a great historic center and a generally relaxed life going on. There are many nice options to travel to around Dresden such as Saxon Switzerland, you can rent our free bikes and cycle along the river to beautiful castles and so on.
Lollis Homestay is a Hostel that understands itself as a genuine Backpacker with a long tradition. Run by backpackers we take especially care of social interaction and an open-minded environment. So it is a nice place with great vibes.

My experience at lollis was amazing. It was my first time volunteering and I was a little nervous, but everyone was very nice and I really felt at home. The working hours are short which gave me time to get to know Dresden and travel to nearby cities. Also the activities you do at the hostel helped me to learn more about the local culture and connect with other travelers. I simply had a lot of fun. All the staff at lollis are very sweet, martin and julianne were always concerned about making us feel good and at home. I would definitely recommend this place to volunteer.

My time at Hostel Lollis has been truly amazing! The staff are so friendly, and kind. They all welcomed me with open arms, and I felt at home immediately. The space is very homey, comfortable and warm (it’s probably the best hostel of all time), located in a great neighborhood. The tasks mostly include hosting events for the hostel guests, which was lovely, because I had the opportunity to meet lots of interesting people from all over the world. I would do it all over again if I could! Thank you so much for everything Martin! I recommend Lollis ten times over.

One of the best volunteering experiences: a great team, an excellent hostel, wonderful travellers you meet and activities that have more to do with keeping the hostel's energy up, socialising with the guests, going out and sharing with them. An excellent breakfast, oh and so many things! Very grateful to have the opportunity to participate in the hostel and get to know the beautiful city of Dresden. I had the most incredible month at Lollis. Martin & Juliane are so kind, supportive, and genuine. They, along with the entire Lollis team, help to create an environment that makes you feel right at home. I feel so lucky to have had this experience, and I wish I could do it all over again. I highly recommend volunteering here if you want to meet great people and have a lot of fun!

I had an incredible time volunteering at Lollis Hostel! The work was enjoyable, and we had the chance to organize activities that we were passionate about. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting—everyone, from the staff to the guests and fellow volunteers, contributes to an amazing community. There’s always something happening, so you’ll never be bored!
