Volunteers can stay in a very nice place, in contact with nature, animals (cause we have 2 dogs and 1 cat), near the beach.
They will help in the open air, such as gardening, olive harvest in October, that is a very nice experience.
As our guests are foreigners and also Italian, they can have the possibility to speak not only Italian but also English, french and german, and increase their level. We're in the middle of Catania and Syracuse, so they can visit and know this part of Sicily that is wonderful.
As I travelled very much, I know what this means stay in a new country with a new culture. I work with volunteers from years, some of them stay more than 1 year, and they become part of the family.

Espectacular!
Todo lo que esperas de un anfitrión, lo encuentras en Andrea. Pero debo decir que lo mejor fue conocer a Ale. Un bombón de persona. Me lo llevo en el cuore.
Pude conocer Catania (in love), Siracusa, el volcán Etna y lugares que no esperaba como Fossombrone, Fano, Bolonia.
Un viaje lleno de sorpresas. Volveré por más. Quedó mucho por hacer.

Good experience! A nice villa which was my first time trying worldpackers, some weeks great and agreed hours and some lacking… as another review mentioned, working with Andrea is certainly difficult and when he was at the villa working hours went up significantly. During his time there days off weren’t agreed upon and the 2 per week promised was not kept to. The accommodation was changed halfway through my stay to a small room with three beds where I frequently found mice droppings in the room.

Villa Augusta is a very quiet and peaceful place. If you want to spend time outside with not too many people around and realx a little, this is perfect. It was a bit difficult to reach other places from there because it wasn't that central but it's not a big problem to ask Manolo for a ride.
The tasks were not too difficult and the work hours were also respected.
I'm so happy that I had such a great time with the other volunteers and we got along so well. Thank you very much for welcoming me so kindly (and letting me improve my Spanish a bit) and also to Andrea for taking care of everything.
