Hi, I was born in 1963 and live with my mother, who was born in 1933. She's very kind, slow, and curious about meeting people from all over the world.
She speaks English and French, studied pedagogy, and loves to travel. Together, we often go to India, where I work on social projects for families, women, children, and artisans.
In our apartment, we have just one room for paying guests.
You will be for us like a family member.
We will givesome advices on how to travel in Florence and around this place.
There are nice walking path on the river Arno.

Volunteering with the home and Alessandra in Firenze was an unforgettable experience. From day one, I enjoyed a true intercultural exchange, attending a Hindi music concert, meeting Italian families, joining community events, and leading handmade workshops that helped me practice Italian and better understand the culture. I also supported Alessandra with office work and built a special bond with the home. The delicious vegetarian food, beautiful walks near the lake, and warm atmosphere made this experience truly enriching. Grazie the home cuore! ❤️

Alessandra and the home are incredible people. I was very happy to be able to meet and spend days with people as good as they are. I even learned a few things in Italian. The working hours are flexible; I could adapt with my remote work without any problem. I had a room just for me, with a desk to work at, I had a kitchen just for me and a separate entrance from the house. Alessandra gave me several tips for outings, encouraged me to get to know the places and helped me a lot with the logistics. If you come to their home, be prepared to receive a lot of affection and attention!

I was alone; Ale and her mother had to leave for a few days. The house was quiet, the work was only in gardening.
It was fine. I didn't feel very safe with a neighbor, but of course that has nothing to do with Ale and her mom; it was simply a somewhat awkward part of the experience.
