Agüita House
We offer our volunteers a great place to stay right in front of the beach La Cicer. Gran Canaria is a beautiful island to explore, and with the workload of 25 hours a week you have plenty of time to do that. Our team is like a little family and we are very close to our guests. That's why you can make a lot of friends even in a short amount of time. With the special vibe of the island and its beautiful people you're definitely gonna have a great time you will never forget!
We try to find the right balance between friendship and business, which of course isn't always easy. But we want to know our team and have the possibility to get to know each and every one of them.

Ho trascorso 5 settimane all'the hostel Surf Lodge: un'esperienza che consiglio a chi cerca un ambiente accogliente, sociale e tranquillo. Mi sono sentita a casa dal primo giorno grazie a volontari fantastici e alla disponibilità costante di Gabri e dei proprietari. I compiti sono semplici e ben organizzati, con turni flessibili tra reception, pulizie e supporto agli ospiti. In poco tempo si crea una vera famiglia, tra momenti condivisi, serate in terrazza e ricordi preziosi che custodirò con affetto. Una delle esperienze più belle mai fatte! Per me è solo un arrivederci ❤️ a presto the hostel!

I had such a great time at the hostel! The work was very fair and the other volunteers and Gabri really made me feel like part of a family. With all the activities and evenings chilling together on the rooftop, we became such a close group, including many of the guests. Some even extended their stay for several weeks because of the people and atmosphere. I'm really grateful for the experience and would definitely recommend it! ❤️

Esperienza fantastica! Il posto è in una posizione magnifica, Gabri la manager dell'ostello è precisa (perché ci tiene) ma anche molto alla mano. Si conosce una quantità innumerevole di persone. Mi sono sentita subito a casa e rifarei questa esperienza altre mille volte, è stato un buon modo per conoscere gente, godersi un posto bellissimo, praticare l'inglese e lo spagnolo e divertirsi tanto.

Volunteering at the hostel was an incredible experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a welcoming and social environment. The hostel is only a few metres from the beach and has an amazing rooftop overlooking the ocean. The best part is the people: travellers from all over the world and volunteers who quickly become like family. The tasks are simple, activities are organised almost every day, and Gabri and the owners are always supportive. What makes this place special is how much manager and owners care about creating a safe, relaxed atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
