Amaru Bioparque Cuenca
At Amaru Biopark, learning has no limits. Here, in our conservation home, volunteers will learn about the stories, management, and conservation of each animal in the park, while they also learn about the animals and undertake Spanish language learning at the same time, because our mission with volunteers is that they learn as much as possible; the more time they spend with us in the park, the more they will learn. The fact that they volunteer with us is a two-way feedback of knowledge, as we also learn from them and exchange experiences, expanding knowledge for everyone.
At Amaru we work with about 30 people including wildlife caretakers, veterinarians, environmental educators, ticketing staff, bar staff, maintenance staff and administration. The work environment internally is very pleasant since all of us who make up Amaru are very committed to the goal of wildlife conservation. Our experience with the volunteers who have visited us has been spectacular, so the treatment they will receive will be the best, and they will surely leave with an unforgettable experience and learning.
