I left early because it was uncomfortable for me and it's not what I'm looking for in a travel experience; the tasks aren't organized, there's no communication or coordination, “everyone's task, nobody's responsibility”; there's no host available to coordinate the place and the volunteers. It didn't work for me. The good thing is its proximity to the beach.

My first experience in Brazil! The hostel Flores is a very quiet place, the facilities are super spacious and comfortable. Unlike other hostels in which one cannot find space to enjoy oneself while not working.. You're one block from the beach and you can hear the sound of the sea to sleep. Alejandro is super friendly and very concrete when explaining the tasks to be carried out, I think the exchange is fair. He is not one of those people who instantly gain your trust; don't take it personally! I recommend this volunteering!

Alejando always fulfilled what was agreed, both in tasks and in the schedules and days of work. The volunteers greeted me wonderfully. From the first day I felt very supported, like at home. Being my first volunteering experience, it was one of the best. The place is very peaceful and the beach is a beauty, with turquoise water and white sand. I am completely grateful to have started here! Thank you and I hope to return someday 🙏
