Welcome to France,
the Loire valley is a beautiful place, surrounded by some great French chateaux, Chambord, Chenonceau…Great country side for walking, cycling…the most prettiest Zoo in France, you would be Volunteering and staying in a very quiet village of Seigy, a village with only 3000 habitants, its only 3 km away rom zoo beauval … the area has an excellent opportunity to interact with French people, discover their cultures and everyday way of life, visit local markets and meet real French people and their families.

About us

Born in the 1960's a golden era some say,
I had a dream long ago and i built the property from that childhood idea, after coming to the area many times as a child and teenager.

You may get the chance to meet our children, but they have busy lives in University world.

We crave open, good communication, You will be treated like a member of our family.
I like honesty and openness, confidence, this builds trust, understanding and helps build lifelong friendships.

In the past few years on other platforms, we have received volunteers from Brazil, Chile, Mexico, China, USA, and Europe.


Here's where you hopefully come in !

We are looking for a trustworthy Volunteer or a Volunteer couple to help us during our at times busy working season that i am currently trying to make this as long as possible (fingers crossed)
You will have your own room, a great nights sleep in a no noise village is guaranteed, the room may be located on the first floor or in the basement of the property (3 levels) and access to a toilet, the shower and bathroom, may be located on a diferent floor. in any case i will do my best to give you the best accomodation i can.

Breakfast, and dinner will be provided, we eat some meat, but we also starting to eat many varied vegetable based dishes, and of course fish and pasta and pizza

I will give you a Tutorial on Housekeeping of our property and the Housekeeping process for 3 bedrooms, you will become an expert ! servicing guest rooms, changing bedsheets, towels, cleaning bathrooms hoovering and mopping floors, though we do have a super easy cleaning machine to do the hard work,
all protective and safety gear and materials supplied by us, though if you need anything or you have an idea, i love open conversation.

Outside we have a huge Garden backing onto a forest, Deer and forest animals can often be seen, usually on a fortnightly basis this need maintaining, and a great oppurtunity to work outside in the fresh air, we also have a terrace area, outdoor furniture, Jacuzzi used by guests from time to time.
