Bioaldea Museros
The finca is located 3 km from the town, and can be reached on foot.
The town of Museros is part of the Valencian orchard, with a Mediterranean climate. Its flat surface allows for bicycle rides; access to this locality is via Valencia Metro Line 3.
The location is unbeatable, with metro, buses, trains, and air connections from Valencia.
The capital has an old and historic part, and another modern one with interesting museums; it also offers pleasant walks along the beaches. It is 250 km from Madrid, 330 km from Barcelona, and you can go by boat to Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
Four years ago I decided to travel the world; I visited almost every country in Europe and Eurasia by car. In Germany I did a volunteer placement at Sammartz and I was amazed by how the eco-village worked; they have everything very well organized and have been operating for forty years. From there the idea came, and upon returning to Spain I found a small finca to try to do something similar, though at first on a small scale. I invite you to collaborate in this modest but great project.

I had the most lovely time at Jose's farm. Jose is an incredibly kind and patient host; he cooked delicious meals, taught me a lot of Spanish, and spent nice times laughing and watching fireworks in Valencia. The work was fair and flexible, and Jose is very understanding; the farm was calm, simple and comfortable; and had beautiful stars at night to look at. I had a bike to ride and so it was very easy to get to Valencia to explore after I finished work. I would come back absolutely, as it started to feel like a second home after two weeks. Thank you Jose for the opportunity.

I loved the time I spent at the ecovillage! The work was hard, but seeing how it turned out afterward was very rewarding. The hours were respected, so there was plenty of free time to explore and finish some books I had wanted to read for a long time. José was a spectacular companion, with very good conversations on different topics and an excellent cook.

I came to fix engines but after that was done in less than two days I spent the rest of my time digging trenches and moving rocks. Jose is very sweet and makes us breakfast and lunch, sometimes making something special, and sometimes even making us dinner. It's rather hot this time of year (1-7th September) so but work starts earliest 8am (thought not like it mattered for me, I woke up quite late most days but Jose is very flexible with when you begin) so you would have to deal with the heat and sun. Rafelbunyol is quite interesting this time of year and he has workable bicycles you can use

I had the most amazing Worldpackers experience with José! He would make us delicious breakfast, we’d work hard for a few hours, then spend the afternoon as we wished! This location is fairly close to both the beach and the public transit line to access the city of Valencia. On our days off, José took us to his favorite cafe and then on an excursion to a beautiful waterfall!

My two-week experience at Bioaldea was wonderful and flew by. 🥰 The atmosphere with José and the other volunteers is calm and welcoming. José makes you feel at home and was a perfect Spanish teacher: patient and understanding. We tried typical food, he recommended local places and the work wasn't difficult, always with breaks for refreshments or beer. 🍻 The farm is well connected (40 minutes from the Museros metro). I would love to come back someday!🤩Thank you very much José, Saki and Mekayla!!🥰
