Black Swan Temple
We are a beautiful nature sanctuary and eco retreat on lush tropical north shore of Maui and we host ongoing private yoga retreats. This is a great opportunity for a cultural work exchange! Work on the land, meet people from around the world, to be of service, support to others on their healing journeys, as well as take part in Ceremonies, Classes & Retreats that our Temple offers.
We are a tropical organic farm/eco sanctuary on the beautiful lush north shore of Maui. We host ongoing small group retreats, Moon Ceremonies, Classes and Workshops. We also have a spa and beautiful meditation grounds. We have a cultural work exchange program and are looking for support staff to work on the land and support our programs. The scope of the work may include help with cleaning, landscaping, hosting, etc.
This is NOT an internship for teaching yoga or other classes. We require a minimum of 1-month commitment (2 months preferred) with 25 hours per week. In exchange, we offer accommodations, meals, and classes. We host mainly women, but do host couples from time to time.

I had a bit of a unique experience here since Heather and Donny were out of town for a lot of my stay, but I had a wonderful time. They were very clear in their instructions and communication. I really enjoyed spending time on their property and the surrounding areaβ it's beautiful! I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a nature-immersed and sustainable experience :)

My experience at the Center has been very interesting and life changing! I stayed for 2 months and feel like I've learned so much about myself, nature and the environment π Depending on whether there's a retreat or not what you're week will look like. I really enjoyed working on longer projects like getting the weeding out of the way and planting pineapples π Thank you Heather and Donny π

I am so thankful for Heather and Donny and everything the Center has given me. As a first time World Packer, I was a bit nervous, but from the very first communication with Heather I felt comfortable and prepared for the experience. The accommodation was private, clean and comfortable. Being able to have access to the retreats and classes was absolutely incredible. The meals were beautiful and so delicious. The yoga swings are so relaxing and empowering all at the same time. The blend of skills and talent Donny and Heather bring together in such a beautiful place is inspiring.

My time at the Center was deeply profound and unforgettable experience. The property is very healing, peaceful and sacred. It's a great opportunity to reconnect back with yourself. Heather and Donny are incredibly fair and generous with what they offer, they allow you to participate in the retreats they offer as if you were a guest ! And they also give you a one on one session ! You also get full use of the spa and there is a waterfall close by, highly recommend this place if you are looking to deepen yourself and get the wisdom and guidance from Heather and Donny π

Being here was such a gift, it is a healing &supportive environment! Most days you can use the spa, they have the sweetest kitties &the property is so beautiful. Using rain catchment shows how much we can save From my perspective Heather took some time to open up, but she is very genuine. Donny was always very friendly &excited to chat! I think they balance each other well &are generous with what they offer. If you're looking for somewhere with healing energy, connection to the aina, &beautiful music/sound journeys this is the place for you! Pro tip: visit the waterfall & Spirit the horse!
