I run a very small stables in the west of Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช where the welfare of the horse and its training is paramount. I run a small breeding program .we have a lot of young horses and
competition horses so previous experience with theses type of horses is a must !!!!

I would expect a person who understands the country life style and has experience with horses not some one who thinks this life is easy or thinks itโs like the movies . Any volunteer would be treated with the up most respect and like a member of the family thus would be living with me in my home .

It was my first worldpacker experience.
But it was really good. Kelly is super nice and funny. The work with the horses is fun, however it took me a few days to really get to know them and adjust to them. They are mostly young horses, that should be obvious to everyone.
I would recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys working with horses and simply wants to try something new. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun!

I enjoyed my stay with Kelly, she was really accomodating and helping me plan the trips on my days off, I also loved her cooking! The horses could be challenging but she taught me very much about handling them and improving my riding. Everyone was nice and I loved spending time with all her animals.

I couldn't have imagined a better host than Kelly. She always made me feel welcome, would have helped me with anything and was a fun company. She always made it possible to visit different places on my days off, so I could get the best out of my time there. But you live in a really rural area so you need to be able to spend sometime alone and to entertain yourself. But if you like the country live this place will be perfect for you.The horses are lovely and I learned a lot working with them, but good experience with horses is a must! I had the best summer staying with Kelly and her Animals.

I spent 6 great weeks with Kelly, time really does fly there. I can only agree that she makes it very easy to feel comfortable.
She was very supportive and flexible with everything, also really helpful when it comes to planning trips.
The horses can definitely be challenging, even for experienced riders, but also very rewarding. I learned a lot about all sorts of things and will definitely be back some time :)

My 2 months with Kelly flew by. She made me learn so much about new ways to train horses! I'm really thankful for everything. I visited a lot of places in Ireland during my stay and I can't wait to come back in Ireland. Thank you Kelly !
