Casa Grande Hostel
We have a large hostel with lots of green space with plants trees and garden space. Here you can connect a lot with Nature, we are on the side of a small mountain range with lots of streams and waterfalls close by. The hostel has a great atmosphere to meet new people and share meals with other travels.
I like to have a staff that works hard but also knows how to have fun. by doing 5 shifts a week you cover your stay and breakfast. Once a week i like to take everyone on a excursion. there is generally a fun energy in the hostel where everyone can feel comfortable. We have a few dogs and cats that are also very friendly.

For me, the hostel was a place that becomes a part of you. ❤️ I dared to open up, to show myself as I am, and to discover things I didn't know I liked. I went from talking about my profession, my projects, and my dreams with people from other generations to sharing with girls my age the desire to keep traveling and discover what lies beyond. I carry with me the affection of Collin and Soel. Thank you for opening the doors, the moments we shared and for being part of a phase in which I grew, discovered myself and I will carry memories that I will always treasure. Endless thanks to the hostel.

The hostel is a spacious and warm place; schedules and times are respected, breakfast is complete and tasty 😋 whenever possible, activities such as trekking or visiting a nearby place are organized. Merlo is a beautiful place among the mountains; the Peñón Viewpoint is one of the places about a 5-minute walk from the Hostel. My gallery is full of photos of the hostel's little animals, Pancha, Baddy, Celestina and Floky 🥹❤️🩹

My experience at the the hostel was very good! The place is very the hostel and is completely surrounded by nature, which allows you to disconnect 100%. From Collin and the Hostel team to my fellow travelers, they made it a month of nothing but hikes, mates and fun.

I can’t say anything more than good things about the hostel! Huge thanks to Collin who welcomes us all in the best possible way, to Jime who was able to answer all my questions and, of course, to my fellow volunteers who made me never want to leave. Head to the hostel and fall in love with its corners, climb many mountains and discover many rivers; you won’t regret it at all, by the way you meet Pancha, Buddy, Floki and Celestina who are the pets, one of my favorite things was playing with them. The shifts are simple and super easy, I recommend the experience 100% and I’m going back!

The hostel is one of the places whose name was well chosen; since I arrived I was surrounded by nature, murals and a feeling of being at home, comfortable and welcome. It is a beautiful place to share with volunteers, travelers and the hostel's fixed work group, whether it's a mate, a hike to the waterfalls or a sunset from the stream. In addition to the warmth of the place and its good location, the shift schedules are met and the tasks are very simple. Thanks, Collin, for hosting me and thanks to the group of volunteers for everything shared, a beautiful experience 🏔️
