Our hostel is an old hostel lovingly renovated, with a very family-like atmosphere. The tasks to be carried out will not be complicated and will allow you to learn and practice our language.
We are part of the Camino de Santiago and pilgrims stay here every day.
The audience is very varied: pilgrims, foreigners, people who come to surf, for the weekend or summer holidays.
Laredo is a town with an incredible beach, where you can do various sea activities, hiking routes, and there are many bars to enjoy the gastronomy :-)
We are also very close to Santander and Bilbao.
In the spring months it is a very quiet town, there aren’t many people nor much activity.
In the summer it is the typical seaside holiday town with day and night life :-)
We are two sisters who manage the hostel.
We need volunteers to help us with day-to-day cleaning tasks, working alongside us so that you can feel at home and take care of the hostel as if it were your home.

My experience at the hostel was great. The work is relaxed, cleaning and organizing the hostel in the morning, and there is plenty of free time to walk around the beautiful Laredo, go to the beach, or visit the surrounding towns. The hostel is well located, beautiful and comfortable, and the owners are lively and are always willing to help us with what we need. I highly recommend the experience.

With my partner we did three weeks of volunteering at the hostel and we had a great time! We had a bathroom and a private, very comfortable room; breakfast was provided as agreed and all the tasks were as described. It is a very beautiful and quiet town with many beaches and beautiful hikes to do! Highly recommended! The sisters are super loving and they are always helping with the tasks, making everything easier! I

We've come back and we'll come back whenever possible :) A great home where we've been able to enjoy once again the great hospitality of the girls, connect with nature, discover Cantabria and other communities, and enjoy the lovely life in Laredo. Undoubtedly highly recommended!

It was great to be part of the hostel for a second time. The tasks are easy to learn and carry out, the town is very pleasant, there are many nearby places to explore, and you can connect with travelers from all over the world.
But above all, Lauri and Martha make this experience feel like a home; they are always there to guide you and encourage you to enjoy the experience. Thanks again for the trust and the great energy, always 💕🙌✨

It has been a really lovely experience 🥰 the place, the girls, and the teammates are incredible. The tasks are easy, and at the end of the shifts you have a lot of free time to enjoy the area. The hostel has everything you need, and the hosts treat you like family! You’ll fit in great here, whether you want to socialize or stay calm.
