We loved our stay at the hostel! The hours were super easy and respected (either consisting of creating art/signs for the hostel, working reception and general tasks around the hostel or creating posts for their social media). The small, quiet town of El Gigante was the perfect place to relax!! Gracias Hernan and everyone we met during our stay, we had a blast!! ☺️

Gracias, the hostel! 🦎 Volunteering here was such a great experience. The owner is very flexible, always ready to help and full of tips on what's worth seeing nearby. The tasks were easy and the schedule left plenty of time for surfing and exploring. It's a tiny beach town, so you quickly get to know the locals and the area. There's always something fun for volunteers: burger and pizza nights, karaoke, trivia and more. The other volunteers welcomed me warmly from day one. the hostel by name, the hostel by nature. Highly recommend😆

An amazing volunteer experience! Hernán is a very good person; he picked me and my friend up in Managua and took us to Playa Gigante. A very good surf instructor. A perfect town to disconnect. I would recommend it a thousand times!!!

I had a great time as a community manager at the youth hostel. Very well the youth hostel indeed! We had total creative freedom and for our scheduling management. The hostel is very well located, next to surfing, shops and fresh fish every day! I really loved meeting the other volunteers (+Dom). There are organized activities in the village throughout the week to get together. Nice experience! Thank you very much!

Great first volunteering experience, the tasks were easy and Hernan very flexible :) It's pretty easy to meet people, Dominique welcomed us well and made us feel at ease quickly El Gigante is a good place for the youth hostel and to enjoy the ocean, surfing lessons and meals shared with the other volunteers :)
