CoDE Pod Hostels - THE CoURT

We already have the highest rated hostel in Edinburgh under our belt, now we're growing!

Housed in a converted courthouse and jail, our new pod hostel, right on the Royal Mile in the heart of the Old Town, is now open and we need your help to welcome our guests and keep it sparkling clean.

As all our beds are brand new and rooms newly refurbished, cleaning is a doddle.

We'll give you a cosy Pod in a shared room, as well as breakfast- We serve freshly made waffles every day!

We have a friendly full time staff of 10 and usually around 4-8 volunteers staying with us at a time, so there's always somebody to hang out with!

I had a great time at Code, and I got to meet wonderful people, everyone on the team is very nice and friendly, the activities were simple and easy to carry out, the volunteers have great accommodation and they also offer a delicious breakfast, the hostel has a perfect location. Thanks Evan! a hug

I had a fantastic experience volunteering at CoDe! The schedule is respected and I had a lot of free time to explore the city and surroundings. The team was incredibly friendly and supportive. I had the opportunity to meet many people and had an absolute blast.
I highly recommend volunteering at CoDe, it was an unforgettable experience! ☺️

E exatamente como o descrito, os horários são compridos fielmente. Tem dias que são muitas horas, mas as vezes você fica uns 3 ou até 4 dias de folga , e isso é muito bom.

Os funcionários são bem acolhedores, os gerentes estão sempre abertos para conversar quando você tiver alguma dúvida. O quarto é somente de voluntários e o silêncio predominante, e muito importante pois as vezes temos horários noturnos.

A localização é perfeita, vc esta no centro de tudo. A cidade é maravilhosa. Eu recomendo. As instalação são bem novas e a cama é muito confortável. Obrigada Meg e Evan🧡

My stay at CoDE was fantastic. The whole team is very welcoming. The tasks to be performed were organized, and the hours were respected. The location of the hostel is perfect. I definitely recommend this experience.

I had a great time in Edinburgh! Volunteering at the CoDE was a fair exchange; you'll have 3 to 4 days off per week depending on morning or night shifts you get. The job is simple enough, and the pod is really comfortable.
Special thanks to Meg, Richard, Leighton, and Rohan for always being so nice and helpful. Also Evan, Sara and Rossie for the friendliness. It was nice meeting other volunteers and some staff too. Thanks everyone!
