Cool Bananas Backpackers 1770
Whether you are looking to party or relax while you're here you will be able to find plenty of like-minded people. We are about a 5–10-minute walk to the beach, shops, petrol station and local pub. We have staff dinners sometimes where we feed our team and host social events like beach parties, or live music at the hostel. we also pick up new guest dressed as bananas and the guest get involved in this as well, they are a great ice breaker for conversation especially for the solo travelers
This hostel is run by my family and our WFA staff, so we are quite homey. We do not tolerate hate or disrespect so we expect people to treat others how they would like to be treated themselves.
If guests or other workers happen to cause dramas or make others uncomfortable, they will be asked to leave, this helps keep staff and guests safe and happy.

It's a lovely place to stay, and the people here are amazing. I had such a great time that I ended up extending my stay, haha! If you enjoy socializing and love hobbies like surfing or hiking, this is definitely the place for you. Just keep in mind that communication is key to having a great experience — as long as you respect Scott's rules, there's no reason you won't have a good time. Be kind and open-minded, and you'll fit right in!

Agnes Water is a beautiful small town, I am so grateful to have this experience, meet amazing people and the group of volunteers was beautiful and work as a team, the work was manageable and easy( 2 hours a day, sometimes less) the only disadvantage would be the treatment volunteers received by the part of the host which was sometimes disrespectful, and hostile in my opinion a warmer and more respectful communication by the host would make the work atmosphere healthier and make better results for both parties.Regardless of the job respect should be always shown and a priority.

I spent just over a month volunteering at the hostel, and my stay there was fantastic! The hostel is very welcoming, and the host, Scott, makes a real effort to create a pleasant, family-like atmosphere, even cooking for the guests now and then, which I really appreciated. The other volunteers were amazing, and I loved the sense of family that developed. I'd recommend staying here to anyone!!

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! The hostel is very cozy and all the facilities are very nice! Also there are bikes and surf boards you can use as staff. The work is very straight forward, and Scott is a great host! I would highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity !
