The house the lodge is a very good place to volunteer; it has all the amenities to stay. As a volunteer you should help with cleaning, keeping things in order, welcoming guests, and taking care of Cookie. Víctor takes care of welcoming you well and maintaining good communication throughout your stay. With him you can learn a lot about the local culture; also, as a guide, he can help you get to know the area, and also take you on the tours that he offers to tourists. I am very grateful to have arrived at La casa the lodge! 🙌🏽🌞

Fantastic experience at the lodge! Victor is an excellent person, flexible and has a lot of experience in tourism. The tasks were simple; mainly cleaning, cooking and welcoming the guests. English is practiced a lot and there is enough time to explore the town and surroundings. Many guests stay for a long time, which helps to meet people and make friends. Highly recommended experience!

This was my first volunteering experience.
Living and working in the hostel, the line between free time and work blurs, as guests see you there and ask you for things.
The room is shared with the guests.
The work is simple: house tours, greeting the guests, helping with cleaning bathrooms and the kitchen.
It's a place where the administrator asks for order and little noise.
Victor appreciates initiative and responsibility.
I was lucky to come across a volunteer, Pedro, who helped me a lot and was a great adventure companion :)

The experience at the lodging was amazing. I met people from all over, I had plenty of time to explore all the corners of San Pedro de Atacama and more, and I also had the opportunity to take incredible tours with Víctor — his bicycle also helped a lot in day-to-day life. The place is very welcoming and I formed a very good friendship with Víctor, who, by the way, has some great stories. Thank you for this incredible month!
