Eka Cave Maison – Volunteering Experience in Cappadocia
Located in the heart of Cappadocia, in Ürgüp Ayvalı Village, Eka Cave Maison is more than just a hotel; it is a unique living space where history, culture, and authenticity come together.
Opened in April 2025, our boutique hotel was built with original stones from the Seljuk and Byzantine periods, designed like a living museum. We offer our guests luxury, comfort, and an authentic village lifestyle, while also putting sustainability and cultural heritage preservation at the center of our philosophy.
✨ Did you know? Eka Cave Maison is the first hotel in Cappadocia and Turkey to feature a Black Water Pool, making it a one-of-a-kind experience for our guests and volunteers.
At Eka Cave Maison, we welcome volunteers who wish to join us in creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere for our international guests.
What We Expect from Volunteers:
Speaking foreign languages (especially French, English, or Spanish)
Assisting with guest relations and reception support
Helping with cultural introductions and small activities
Supporting the daily operations of the hotel
What We Offer to Volunteers:
Free accommodation in the magical atmosphere of Cappadocia
Rich and traditional breakfast

The Owners of Eka Cave Maison
Eka Cave Maison stands out not only with its architecture and authentic atmosphere but also with the strong family story behind it. The owners, Mrs. Hasret and Mr. Evren, bring their life experiences, cultures, and dedication into this special place, creating a warm, homelike environment for their guests.
Mrs. Hasret
Of Turkish origin and a French citizen, Mrs. Hasret lived in France for many years and brought her intercultural background to Cappadocia. One of her greatest strengths is her work as a local French and Spanish tour guide in the region. This allows her to provide foreign visitors with historical and cultural guidance in their own languages. She also has an intermediate level of English, which enables her to communicate easily with guests from many different countries. Her sincere and welcoming attitude makes visitors feel at home the moment they arrive.
Mr. Evren
A descendant of a family that immigrated from Thessaloniki, Mr. Evren grew up surrounded by the history and cultural heritage of Cappadocia. He is an expert in restoration and has contributed to the preservation of many historical buildings in the region. Combining his professional knowledge with his artistic spirit, he designed and personally created many of the details that make Eka Cave Maison so special.
From the stonework on the walls to the fine touches in the decoration, countless elements within the hotel reflect Mr. Evren’s craftsmanship and vision. Thanks to his work, Eka Cave Maison is not only a place of luxury and comfort but also a unique museum-hotel experience, where history, art, and craftsmanship come together.
A Shared Spirit
Mrs. Hasret’s cultural expertise and language skills, combined with Mr. Evren’s artistic vision and technical mastery, gave life to Eka Cave Maison. Through their joint efforts, the hotel offers its guests more than accommodation – it provides a warm family atmosphere, a cultural journey, and an authentic experience that reflects the true spirit of Cappadocia.
