Espaço Soluna
Located for 9 years on a rented farm in Costa da Lagoa, Florianópolis/SC, the project operates as a non-profit eco-community in the off-season. In the summer months (high season), we host events, accommodations, retreats and activities to fund the maintenance of the space.
During January and February, we offer lodging, retreats, conscious eating, courses and a bar for social moments. Visitors have the chance to experience ecological practices and the community's dynamics.
Aimed at those seeking collective experiences, deepening in agroecology and permaculture, Soluna integrates anti-speciesist ethics, living in harmony with nature and applying the principles of ecology in daily life.
Volunteering involves various activities, geared both toward maintenance of the site's tasks, and in potential stages of projects such as bioconstruction and agroecology.
Space managers are Mari (studying and undertaking an internship in Biological Sciences at UFSC) and Luis Fernando (Environmental Agent of ICMBio). In addition, community residents also live on site and interact with the volunteers.
