Welcome to Finca ZA·MORA·TO
In our finca, we are dedicated to creating a more sustainable and harmonious environment for the world, applying the principles of permaculture and bioconstruction. Here, you will have the opportunity to wake up each day with the beautiful birdsong and enjoy the unique experience of spotting exotic birds. Among them, you can observe the emblematic royal woodpecker, a symbol of our town.
Join us in this learning and connection with nature adventure, as we work together toward a greener and more vibrant future.
Right now, my wife and I are devoted to a project that we are passionate about. Although our daughter is small, she is always willing to help and learn with us. We would love to have the support of people who share our dream and wish to contribute to the fullest. Our goal is to offer the best to all who join us on this journey.
We are organizing our finca based on the knowledge gained in permaculture courses, taking advantage of recycled elements to create a sustainable and welcoming space. Together we can make this dream a beautiful reality!

It's my second time with the the project, I think that says it all.
I appreciate having had the opportunity again to undertake this volunteering and that it has focused on what I can offer best, the art.
Objectively, it is fulfilled with what was established because the truth is there is a lot of leadership on their part and clarity of schedule, activities, meals, etc
Realmenre I think it's a pleasant experience for the volunteers and I hope it continues to be also for you as you open the doors to traveling people

My experience was very beautiful and special. I felt welcomed from the first day and greatly enjoyed every moment; the conversations, the learnings, the laughter and the connection with nature.
I want to thank the whole family for welcoming me with so much affection and for making me feel at home. I am leaving very grateful and with very beautiful memories from these days. Without a doubt, it was one of those experiences that come without knowing very well what to expect and end up changing you completely.

We had a wonderful time with the family on the farm. They were so friendly and hospitable. I got to practice my Spanish every day and learnt so much about sustainability and the permaculture farm. The family are beautiful and gave me the opportunity for full immersion in Colombian culture, exactly what I wanted to achieve from this. Could not recommend it more!

Our stay at the project was wonderful, we were greeted by a beautiful family who are very generous and welcoming. The views from the farm are incredible, the small town nearby is full of friendly locals and the other towns nearby are great to explore. The work had structured hours and was in a pressure-free environment! Some tasks involve a little bit of manual labour but you are still able to complete them! The family was very patient with our Spanish! Highly recommend!
