Hi, I am Vasilios and I run a hostel and apartment place at the Perissa black beach and a hostel at Fira town on Santorini island - Greece.
We are looking for volunteers that will have some duties in our hostels for 28-30 hours per week,6 or 7 days per week.
For us, the ideal period of stay and help us is a minimum of 1 month, while our hostels are open from March to November.
We are looking for volunteers that could offer the following:
1) preparing/serving drinks and snacks at the pool bar area. (Anny studios)
2) welcoming new guests and providing room keys and general information (Fira backpackers or Anny studios)
3) keeping clean the common areas and the pool area as well (Fira backpackers or Anny studios)
4) nighttime at reception (Fira backpackers or Anny studios)
We offer a private room for 2 helpers that they share and free breakfast only at Anny studios.

I worked at Annys Studio for a month and it was my first experience. My stay was really good. The island is really beautiful and the work was very easy and not much to do. I had may own room for the time staying and Vasilios and Cynthia were very nice as well as the rest of the staff.

Fira Backpackers was my first world packer’s experience and I had an awesome time! The tasks expected of me were simple. As a first time solo traveller I wanted my first destination to feel like a home away from home, and Fira Backpackers fulfilled that!! The host has 2 properties, and is normally at the other one, so I didn’t interact much with him, however the conversations we did have were pleasant. At the hostel I worked most with the Manager Matthew, who I now consider a close friend. Everybody at the hostel was an absolute delight to be around.

I stayed just some days in Thira and the town is beautiful. Also the hostel was nice.

Had a great time at Fira Backpacker’s Place, there was a nice family vibe and all guests were friendly too. There’s plenty to do on the island and the 5 weeks flew by! Thanks so much for having me, I will miss you all lots.

My first Worldpackers experience and it was the best month of my life! The team is great and so we’re all of the other Worldpackers who were working there as well. I made lifelong friendships. The work is simple and you get lots of free time to explore the island. I recommend this experience to everyone and wish I could have stayed longer
