Floripa Surf Hostel
Only 200 meters from the ocean at beautiful Campeche beach.
Great place if you like to relax, enjoy the nature and do sports.
Owned by a local family who is here to support and help you all the time.
If you are a surfer or nature lover this is the perfect place for you, lots of good waves and natural parks nearby.
The Hostel was founded in 2011 with full energy, we used to take care of everything here, working 24/7. During these period our life changed now we have 03 kids and the extra time at the hostel interacting with the guest became more dificult to us, few years ago we started to receive helpers to do this integration, we have all the local knowledge and we enjoy giving good tips but we have no time to do the tracks, to visit natural parks and to go out with guests, these are big reasons why we need Packers, to bring that fresh vibe and energy to the hostel and of course help us at reception and taking care of the property.
Its better that the helpers have experience inside hostels so they know how the business works and are used to shared spaces. A hostel is a place where during work you can have a chat and use no shoes, but if something happens you have to go there and work hard, do a good check-in, answer the phone , change the bins, organize the kitchen, rooms and common areas, give informations and solve problems, always with a smile in the face which is very important.

Volunteering at the the hostel was very good. The hostel's facilities are great, with a well-equipped kitchen, spacious and clean rooms. In addition, it has a well-equipped coworking space to work remotely. Juan was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.

My first experience in Brazil is the best I can imagine. The hostel is really cool, just like in the photos and even better; the staff are friendly and welcoming. Juan is very patient with my Portuguese, always attentive to my needs and with a good attitude. Without a doubt I recommend it💗

An incredible experience from start to finish.
Schedules were perfectly respected and work was very quiet during the off-season; there aren’t many travelers.
Dormitory and kitchen are perfect, and especially the beach right next to the hostel.
Very good for visiting the nice corners of the youth hostel (hikes, sand-snowboarding, viewpoints ...) and exceptional for surfing; I went almost every day for the three weeks and the best spot is attached to the hostel.
If you want to do a lot, Juan gives very good discounts, and lets you try the boards for free if it's temporary.

Juan and his family were very welcoming; I felt at home during my stay at the hostel. The experience is great and the hostel's atmosphere is surreal. I visited in the off-season, but even so I managed to enjoy it with the travelers and other volunteers.
The work itself is quite calm; I stayed at the reception and was also responsible for organizing the kitchen at the end of the shift. I considered it a fair exchange; the volunteers' room is also very well equipped, with air conditioning and a clean bathroom. All in all, it was my first experience and I highly recommend it.

My experience at the hostel was very positive. It was two months as a volunteer and I was very well received by Juan, his family, and the whole team. The environment is calm, organized and welcoming. The work happens in a light way, but with responsibility. The tasks are well explained and the exchange was fair. I really liked the location, close to the beach, and the hostel's focus, which is surfing. I recommend the experience for responsible people who value environments like this. I am very grateful for the opportunity and for all the moments I lived during this period! I take only good things with me!
