Gothic Hostel
It is a family-sized, very cozy hostel; the service is very personalized. Generally we don't get groups; our client is more of a solo traveler, and that makes guests mingle more. Also, within the hostel we prioritize tranquility; we are not a party hostel... although we love Barcelona's party scene!!!
We are approachable people, eager to do a good job; we love the hostel and you can feel it in everything we do, from check-ins to the way we interact with the staff.

Beautiful experience at Itaca hostel. The hostel is divine, very warm and welcoming. The whole team has been a charm. It was a pleasure to be there. The tasks and responsibilities are great, everything is very clear, the appropriate training is provided and it is not at all complicated, on the contrary. I highly recommend living this experience in Barcelona 🤍

It was my first volunteering experience and it couldn't have been better. It's a wonderful hostel and well managed. You have to get used to the night shift but the tasks are simple. It's a very comfortable, clean and sociable hostel too, with the best coworkers. I'll miss Itaca hostel 🫶 10/10, I recommend it.

My experience at Itaca was amazing! The hostel environment is very pleasant, calm, and welcoming. The tasks are clear and correspond exactly with what is proposed in the volunteer description! Nuria and Cris were always very kind, understanding, and flexible when it was necessary to make any shift changes. From the first day I felt very welcome, which made the whole experience even more special. Overall, I enjoyed my stay a lot and met wonderful people. Without a doubt, I recommend this volunteer opportunity to anyone looking for a positive experience! :)

My time in Itaca was beautiful!
I thought it was a great place for a first volunteering experience.
The owners are very involved with the hostel and are very attentive. In my case I had some previous events and they took them into account for my shifts.
The work 90% of the time is very quiet. I wouldn't do it more than a month because of the night shift, but that time is fine.
The hostel is very well located and the vibe of the travelers is generally very beautiful. And the guys who work at the hostel are wonderful people. Thanks Nuria and Cris! And to Dixon, Gabi and Stefano ♡
