I live in a magnificent location in Puglia, less than 2 km from the beaches of Torre Borraco, and 800 meters from one of the hills of the Mediterranean maquis, particularly ideal for nature lovers who still manage to escape the environmental impact caused by humans in recent decades. If you are a calm person who loves simple things, I think you will like this place.
During my leisure hours, I dedicate myself to preparing meals for guests. Given my extensive experience as a chef in various international locations, I often involve guests who express interest in culinary pursuits.

I left the city a few years ago after having lived there for more than twenty years. I wanted to escape and enjoy a little peace and quiet in nature and detoxify myself from screens, social networks, and everything that were my old habits in big cities. Today I spend my days gardening, tending the trees and harvesting olives, capers, tomatoes, figs, depending on the season, and at the same time I make provisions for the winter without having to depend on the supermarket. I also carry out small maintenance work by myself, and I always have fun tinkering with inventions :) that's my day; if you want to give me a hand, you are welcome during the summer period, the accommodation can change depending on demand, because I also rent the rooms, and in the case both are occupied, you will sleep in a tent outside (services and showers are located outside). Guests are asked to keep their room and the common areas clean and tidy. Occasionally, I organize little outings like going to the market or taking walks nearby. I have a few bikes, lots of books, and even a fast internet connection.

My days at the place were very calm and beautiful. It is an ideal site for anyone looking to disconnect from the big cities.
Nicola is a great host. At first he seems a bit serious, but once you gain his trust he is a wonderful person with a big heart.
We worked hard (with simple tasks), ate deliciously and had fun playing cards and going to the sea.
I would highly recommend this volunteering 100%.

I had a wonderful time at Nico's. I spent four weeks there, and he treated me like a family member. I learned so much fun things, from making a fire and grilling, to Puglian customs and cuisine, the philosophy of live and let live, and even a few Thai expressions. Nico introduced me to local life; we went to the market, visited the neighbors, and the beach. The work was a bit physically demanding, but anyone who loves gardening and being in nature will enjoy it, just like I did. I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful place close to the nature.;)

I had a lovely time with Nicola experiencing Italian farm life! Nicola provided amazing food and a perfect room. The work was physical but not hard and I had some time to rest. Nicola took me along through his days going to the market, the beach, the neighbours and working on the garden, olive trees and diy projects. I would recommend! :)

Nico treated me like family, and I couldn't be more grateful! The house is just a few kilometers from the beach by bike and surrounded by beautiful nature (and cats). I learned so many delicious recipes, and how to play Scopa :D It was an enriching experience that I will carry in my heart forever!
