Guanaaní Hostel
Our hostel is located in the heart of Vitória's historic city center, in one of the best-preserved mansions from the 1920s. More than a place to stay, we want to offer a true cultural immersion. Here, we connect our guests with history, local culture, and surrounding communities. If you’re looking for an authentic experience, with plenty of exchange, stories, and a welcoming atmosphere, Guanaaní is the right place for you!
Our team is composed of simple, welcoming people who are open to new exchanges and learning. We value respect, good coexistence, and collaborative development. Here, volunteers are treated as part of the house! We offer a bed in the staff dorm, bed linens, a blanket, and a simple breakfast with coffee, bread, and fruit. We are located near the market, bakery, bars and other downtown spots, with easy access to Curva da Jurema, one of the region's most pleasant beaches. You will feel at home while contributing to a project full of meaning.

I loved my time at Guaraaní Hostel! A beautiful old mansion with more than 100 years in the center of Vitória! Decorated with so many details and care! The guaraní is in great hands, Marcelo who is the manager, does a great job taking care of the hostel and of us volunteers. He is super attentive, understanding and friendly. I recommend with eyes closed! Marcelo also knows a lot about the city and gives us precious tips. I loved my experience at the Guaraní house that was how I felt, welcome and cared for. Success to the hostel and to anyone interested: go for it! it's going to be good ;)

I felt at home, in a welcoming place with friendly people, I learned to use a new system, which is the reservations system, the volunteers themselves helped me a lot, and not to mention the education, respect and camaraderie of Manager Marcelo, a very helpful and attentive person, I would definitely come back, it's a pity it passed so quickly.

The hostel was the best volunteering I’ve done, the place is clean, safe, amazing. The host Marcelo is a wonderful person, empathetic, a good leader and organized. The volunteers I met, some I will carry with me for life. I loved staying there, it was an incredible experience to stay in Vitória’s historic center in an old mansion (which is very well preserved and comfortable).

The hostel experience was wonderful, Marcelo and Caio are amazing, both very welcoming. I was lucky to share my stay with a top-notch team as well! I highly recommend the experience. The location of the hostel is also very good, it's close to supermarkets, theaters and bus stops to other parts of the city and to Vila Velha. The city is quite safe in terms of security, mainly because it's the capital. I learned a lot at the hostel!

The experience at the hostel was incredible. The mansion has a great structure and the location is excellent for getting to know the main sights of the cities of Vitória and Vila Velha. I had the opportunity to connect with other volunteers and some guests. The current management of the hostel has clear and respectful communication. Finally, this was my first volunteering experience and I highly recommend the hostel to any traveler!
