We are in the heart of Edinburgh and staying with us is not only an opportunity to experience the city but it is also an experience to be a part of our hostel family.
We are a fresh, new , young team that are very eager to bring a whole new energy to an old and beautiful building.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I loved every second of it. The staff and other volunteers at High Street Hostel really made me feel like part of the family. High Street Hostel felt truly like a home, it was so cozy and also a lot of fun. The work was good, not too hard and I was left with a lot of time to explore Edinburgh, see other places in Scotland or just stay in and rest. Overall an amazing place to volunteer at :)

The experience was wonderful! With a relaxing atmosphere and great accommodations, it was a pleasure to volunteer at High Street Hostel. There, I had the opportunity to meet guests and volunteers from many countries, which helped me improve my English and social skills. As for the work shifts, scheduling was seamless as it was done online, with a rotating choice system, offering options for various hours. Overall, I do recommend it (:

High Street Hostel is a nice place to volunteer and enjoy Edinburgh and Scotland. The team is very welcoming and the tasks are fair. All the staff are very friendly, especially Miguel, the manager, a great person. I recommend HSH to volunteer!

What can I say! I've never felt more at home.
Dara and Miguel are the coolest managers ever! I'm extremely thankful to be given the chance to have collaborated in this hostel.
From day 1 they clearly showed me what and how to do the tasks assigned. I also loved all the benefits for being a volunteer which made my first time volunteering a bliss.
I have never had as much fun and made such a numerous family like I did here.
I loved meeting people from all over the world with lots of crazy stories and amazing personalities.
Truly an amazing experience! love you all!
