Dinho became a friend and the hostel was my home. The hours are flexible, the tasks are discussed. I stayed two weeks, but it would be easy to stay the whole month. The place is really, really calm, a space for those who want to stay quiet. I would definitely recommend it and would come back more often ;)

My days volunteering were calm and enjoyable. The tasks are easy to perform, and Dinho is a flexible host. His idea is to provide a volunteering experience, so he took me to try a bit of what he likes to do most: cycling along the trails of Mucugê. We had fun together, chatted, and shared meals. I recommend the experience!

Experiencing this here with Dinho was sensational; I recommend it to everyone, here at the host, which could easily be called Casa de Dinho, you will have the opportunity to learn a bit about Mucugê and the Chapada Diamantina while you collaborate with Dinho to keep the guesthouse running, properly clean and organized, with flexible hours, you arrive without knowing anyone and you leave with a great friend. My experience at the Pousada the host was wonderful from start to finish. Dinho welcomed me with all his heart, the work was always very smooth and I had a lot of ease in getting to know the region's most famous tourist spots. I feel that I now have a home here in Chapada Diamantina.
