Hostal Americana
We are Hostal Americana, a barely new hostel located in one of the most iconic, touristic and entertaining spots in the city of Guadalajara, just a few blocks away from Chapultepec, where you can find bars, clubs, restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, etc. We combine design, art and creativity with hospitality, service and quality, so we look for similar kind minded people for our staff and volunteers.
We are travellers just like our clients, so we try to gather our experiencies travelling in a 3 floor corner house with a nice rooftop and plenty of spaces to chill and meet new people. Our team consists on Fer (my business partner) and me (Pache) along with our 2 reception girls and cleaning ladies.

Un lugar hermoso, conoces a personas de diferentes lugares, los turnos son tranquilos, el trabajo es sencillo, son muy respetuosos con los horarios y las tareas y todo, los otros voluntarios son amigables y realmente te sientes como en casa:)

This was definitely one of my best work exchange experiences!!! Julie made me feel so much like part of the family from the start, and Patricio, the cat - who's actually the owner - would always keep me company. No heavy work at all, great sense of community, I made dear friends I'll be carrying for life.
There is plenty of time to get to know the city and the culture and connect with the locals, walk through the neighborhood - which is mouth-dropping gorgeous + I didn't feel like was unsafe.
Thank you so much Carlos & Julie for the opportunity, I highly recommend this place ♥
