Hostel Arco de Triunfo
Our hostel is a fun and welcoming place from people from all over the world. Most our staff speak English, Spanish and their mother tongue, so it's a great place to practice your language skills!
We offer all of our volunteers a comofortable bed in a shared dorm, free dinner every day, as well as a whole array of fun activities throughout the week.
You will make new friends, learn new skills and fall in love with one of the most fascinating cities that Europe has to offer!
Our international staff is one of the best aspects of our hostel!
The relationship between the volunteers and the rest of our staff (managers and receptionists) is rooted in mutual respect. We value good communication, making sure of have weekly meetings and help to get you acclimatized! Is very important for our team to have a great comunication feedback, energy to work and share great moments with the guests and staff.

My experience at the hostel couldn't have been better! Ramiro and the team were kind and attentive from start to finish. The daily activities and hostel routine are exactly as described in the placement, and it's a perfect place to connect with people from all over the world and explore the city.
Even though I've already finished my volunteer period, I always go back to visit, and every single time I'm welcomed with so much warmth ❤️

It was my first volunteering experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better one! I felt welcomed by everyone and the hostel felt like a big, comfortable house where you could easily meet people and do activities together everyday.
The working hours were fully respected, and the work was quite chill. Ramiro, the manager, and the whole team- Laia, Nico, Ahlem and Ali were amazing, friendly and supportive. The location was also great, with most attractions within walking distance.
If you're considering applying, go for it! :) You'll surely have an amazing time!

This place is truly a home away from home! All of the staff is warm people, helpful and fun, they welcomed me with open hands and made me feel like a part of the team right away. I have been volunteering before and this has been the best experience so far - taskwise, communicationwise and facilitywise - the facilities for volunteers are the same level of quality as for the guests, which in my experience is rare. The tasks are fun and equally assorted among volunteers weekly. It's never boring, everything is transparent, working hours are respected. I'd definitely love to return here some day!

I had an amazing time working in Black Swan. The whole team was very welcoming, supportive, and great to work with from day one. I want to thank Ramiro for always being incredibly helpful and genuinely caring about how we felt and whether everything was running smoothly. The atmosphere was always positive, and I really appreciated the seamless teamwork. A fantastic experience overall!

My experience at Blackswan was incredible :) The staff are lovely, they made it easy for me to adapt to the place and the tasks are simple, I had a lot of fun and I also made new friends.
