We're happy to have you here checking us out. So, let me tell you a little story.
Our hostel is located in one of the best spots in Salvador, Bahia.
Just a few meters from the Carnival circuit beach.
Do you know Porto da Barra Beach? Pelourinho? Capoeira? Samba? Salvador is a place to visit in Brazil; it's the first capital and so rich in culture.
If you're looking for parties? They happen all year round ...
Now that you know a bit about the city, let me tell you a little about the hostel. The hostel is over 24 years old; it was one of the pioneers here in the city. We have 8 rooms with up to 60 beds. Staying here at the hostel you will have the experience of enjoying the best places in Salvador and bringing new ideas and a big help to us and to the community.
Our hostel was fully renovated in March 2019. We are very welcoming and hospitable, and our team is part of our family; we work together all the time, helping one another. I truly believe you won't regret it.

My experience at the hostel went far beyond volunteering... the hostel is super organized, well located, welcoming and full of good people! The owners are very present in day-to-day life and that makes all the difference in the environment! The meals are great and the volunteers made everything even more special, a huge hug to Renatão and Marquinhos, who take great care of the crowd and have become friends I will carry with me for life! The social media position is quite flexible, there is already a visual identity and ready-made programming, so you can work and enjoy Salvador at the same time :) Miss you all so much!

One more time, now to wrap up this travel period, I stayed at the hostel; it continues to be my home in Salvador; the space is cozy, organized and clean, the team is always coordinated to deliver the best and they are always bringing improvements to the hostel in general!! And it's always very good to be in this place and feel welcomed by those on the front line, the volunteers' room has 8 beds, a bathroom, a fan and air conditioning, breakfast and lunch are always well served and Salvador is amazing, one day off per week and the fixed schedules, gratitude for one more and see you soon, guys ❤️✨️

Environment is very pleasant and organized, tasks extremely well defined and fair, schedules respected and laid out in a Sunday spreadsheet! The daily tasks are separated by Rose and arranged by Renato; everything has its use, even what doesn't seem to have one! My room was amazing, towels and bed linen are provided, breakfast is sensational, and lunch by the chef of the day; when its time comes you don't do absolutely anything else, the location is perfect, close to everything (market, shopping mall, fair, beach); guests from all corners stay here, the owners are incredible!! I loved the experience :)

The hostel was a very nice experience; the schedules and tasks were as agreed, we have two well-served meals, the location is great and it's a differentiator when making my choices. Renato and Rose guide the team to whatever is possible and are always willing to help you with everything. I definitely recommend it!

This is my second time here at the hostel, and it will always be my little home to return to when I come to Salvador. The hostel is organized and clean, very spacious, and there are always people from all corners of the world to connect with. The amenities are good, coffee is well served and lunch is provided. We have a volunteers' room.
