Camila was an amazing host; she has a calm vibe, but she knows very well what needs to be done. The team around her is also great, and everyone is always willing to help each other. The hostel has an excellent location, in a safe neighborhood and with everything nearby; it's a really good place to get to know the city and learn. I would love to return and I can only thank you for the opportunity. All my affection from Colombia!

It was a very good experience! It was my first volunteering experience and I liked it a lot. The team and the other volunteers are very nice, which made everything even better.

This was my first time ever volunteering at a hostel. It was absolutely incredible, and I made so many friends in such a short amount of time. Everyone was eager to know me and to make me feel welcomed. Despite my intermediate Portuguese, everyone spoke to me with an endearing patience. My Portuguese vocabulary improved substantially while working here.
However, the volunteers were disallowed to use hostel washing machines/hangers (despite being apart of the original agreement) and we were made to change living areas on short notice.
Hostel manager always prioritized safety of volunteers.
